Stillnaz Youth Family Update 6/7

Hello Families,

We have had a great time welcoming our new 6th graders into the youth group after Move-Up Sunday this last weekend, and we got to enjoy their presence at Ignite last night as well! I am so excited to see how God will move in our ministry through these wonderful young people.

Reminder that Middle School Mission Week sign ups are due this Sunday, which is open to incoming 6th-8th graders! Please don’t miss out on this great opportunity to get connected and share the awesome experience of Mission Week.

Reminder that we are looking for support for our NYC (Nazarene Youth Conference) attendees and our goal of providing 2700 items for crisis care kits. Please consider supplying a case or two of one of the items on this list.  Please do not pack any of the kits yourself, simply providing the goods is greatly appreciated.  All items need to be received by 6/23 and can be dropped off at the welcome desk or the compassion closet.

Attention Thrivent Members: This service project qualifies to be used for your $250 donation benefit. Please reach out to your Thrivent representative on how to use that. We would love to receive that gift if you are looking for a ministry to support with that.

Grace and Peace,

-Pastor Chris

REASONABLE DOUBT: A 4-WEEK STUDY FROM THE GOSPELS ON DOUBT & QUESTIONS

SERIES OVERVIEW:

Have you ever heard someone say something that seemed unreasonable? Maybe they told a story or made a statement that was hard for you to believe. It’s not always easy to ask questions or express doubt when other people seem so certain, and that’s especially true when it comes to faith. If you ask hard questions about God or are honest about the things you’re not sure about, what will people think? Will they judge you? Will they laugh at you? But in this four-week series from the Gospels, we’ll see it really is possible to have questions and doubts while still having faith. Through Scripture, we’ll discover that when we have doubts and questions, we don’t need to ignore them or sweep them under the rug. Instead, we can look to Jesus, look to the Holy Spirit, look to God’s words, and look for God in unexpected places.
